Tandem paragliding trips may be taken from Krvavec, Bohinj and within the Soca Valley, you will be taken to the top of the mountain either by vehicle or cable car, where a thourough briefing will take place. Your pilot will then take you for a flight around the mountains before coming to a gentle landing in the alpine meadows or by the lake shore, this is undoubtedly the best viewpoint of the Slovenian alps - from above !

The annual world accrobatic championships take place above lake Bohinj from 5-7 August 2007, a must see if you're in Slovenia at this time.

The opportunities for solo pilots are awesome, various launches exist locally, the nearest being Krvavec(1660m) with cable car access to launch and Ambroz (1070m), within driving distance is the legendary Tolmin (1080m) launch where XC flights into Italy and back are made on a regular basis, and Sorica (1549m) where an out and return of 210km was made in 2006. Many more launches exist all being easily accessable by car.
