Kamnik is the starting point of twelve bicycle trails that differ widely in length, altitude difference, riding times, skill levels, views, riding surfaces, etc. We recommend the tours of Velika planina or Menina planina for bicycling virtuosos, and for recreational riders, the Kamnik-Volčji Potok Arboretum bicycle trail that runs on asphalt and ends with an enjoyable stroll on the footpaths by the lake and flowerbeds of the Volčji Potok Arboretum. The trail on Mount Srobotno, where the ascent is awarded by the wonderful view of Motnik and the Church of Sv. Jurij is tailor-made for lovers of dirt roads.
